Lyle Fredrick Ready, 88, Eastman, Wisconsin died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. Lyle was born to Alvin and Elnora (Kramer) Ready on December 18, 1923 in Eastman, Wisconsin. He attended Eastman State Graded School and Wauzeka High School through the 10th grade.

Lyle married Marie Zech on June 1, 1946. To this union four sons were born. Lyle farmed his entire life and also owned Ready Repair where he did machinery repair. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.

Lyle is survived by three sons, Alvin (Paula) Ready, Eastman, Wisconsin, Kendal (Sandra) Ready, Eastman, Wisconsin and Allan (JoAnn) Ready, Pella, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Lana, Hallock, of Iowa; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Cecil (Becky) Ready, of Tennessee and sister Edna Moeller, La Farge, Wisconsin.

Lyle is preceded in death by his wife, Marie on July 19, 2000; son, Douglas Ready, his parents, Alvin and Elnora Ready and one brother-in-law, Willard Moeller

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 4-8 pm at the Thornburg – Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and one hour before services Friday at the church.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012, at 11 am at the Eastman Wesleyan Church, Eastman, Wisconsin. The Rev. Channing Bogle will officiate.

Burial will follow in National Cemetery, Eastman, Wisconsin.
